She had Bonaparte blood, but owed her fortune to François Blanc, the principal real-estate developer of Monte Carlo. She became a psychoanalyst and rescued Sigmund Freud from the Nazis. She represented Greece at Queen Elizabeth of the UK's coronation in 1953. She and the gentleman who was next to her, a French representative, became bored and she offered him, François Mitterand (President of France from 1981-1995), a session of psychoanalysis.
