Funeral Effigy of Frances Stuart, Duchess of Richmond and Lennox

Frances Stuart died in 1702, in the middle of the Fontanges era so this is an appropriate effigy of her in court dress.

From lisby1's photostream on flickr.

Frances Teresa Stuart is dressed for court wearing a high coiffure decorated with gold ribbon and abundant diamonds in her coiffure with more diamonds adorning her bodice in this effigy.
