She married twice, but her first husband died in combat (the principal task of aristocrats was warfare), so she married again to the Duke de Chevreuse. She was an avid schemer who became the head of Queen Marie de Medici's household. She later became a Fronde supporter and died in a convent. The first and third of these portraits probably predate 1641, but her second portrait is in keeping with mid-1600s French portraiture. Her Wikipedia article is here.
