This print of the Savoia family is a showpiece of late Louis XIV fashion. The Ladies, even little Marie Adelaide, wear Fontanges headdresses and mantuas. Hair is in curls and every Lady's headdress includes lappets. The bodices have a central section probably separate from the bodice or the rest of the dress, a stomacher, framed by bodice that has ornamented panels, revers, that visually separate the rest of the bodice from the stomacher.
