1663 Comtesse de Grignan by Polydor Pauquet

The Pauquet brothers issued a set of historic fashion prints around 1870 so this is based on a prior work. It has the title Comtesse de Grignan, but the name of the Countess isn't specified. Françoise Marguerite was the comte de Grignan's third wife and they married in 1669. But the person looks like the famous Françose Marguerite de Sévigné.

Red and green can be a spectacular color combination as this portrait shows.
