1636 Anne, Countess Clanbrassil by Sir Anthonis van Dyck (Frick Collection, New York City)

This is most of her article from thepeerage.com, "Lady Anne Carey married, firstly, James Hamilton, 1st Earl of Clanbrassill, son of James Hamilton, 1st Viscount Claneboye and Jane Philipps, circa 23 September 1641 at Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, England. She married, secondly, Sir Robert Maxwell, 2nd Bt. in 1668. She died on 15 January 1688/89.

She was the daughter of Henry Carey, 2nd Earl of Monmouth and Lady Martha Cranfield. From circa 23 September 1641, her married name became Hamilton. As a result of her marriage, Lady Anne Carey was styled as Viscountess Claneboye in 1644. As a result of her marriage, Lady Anne Carey was styled as Countess of Clanbrassill on 7 June 1647. From 1668, her married name became Maxwell.” She had two children with James Hamilton.
