Maria Anna’s saya shows Habsburg-Spanish influence. It is consistent with sayas seen in Velazquez portraits. It has a residual ruff, a black band, and a bertha or cowl below the black band. The big locks of hair also resemble Spanish coiffures. The black material of the dress also follows the Spanish model.
