Anna Constantia (née Beresford), Lady Thynne and Selina and Emily Thynne by Richard James Lane (National Portrait Gallery - London UK)

According to her article in thepeerage, Anna Constantia was a minister's daughter who married a minister posted to Westminster Abbey as Cannon and Sub-Dean. Selina's date of birth is not known so the year of this portrait is difficult to estimate; the girls look to be between five and seven and Emily was born in 1840.

Anna Constantia wears a simple dress with long almost un-ornamented sleeves while the girls wear diminutive evening dresses with bertha and complex sleeves in this Lane portrait.
