ca. 1850 Archduchess Marie Karoline (was at Boris Wilnitsky, another copy at Österreichische Nationalbibliothek)

She was born a Habsburg in 1825 and married her cousin, Archduke Ranier, and remained a Habsburg. She died in 1915. A Google search for Marie Karoline will turn up two more famous Habsburgs with the same name pair. Their marriage was happy, but childless.

Notice she is carrying a pair of discretely small one-handled glasses.

This copy of this print was advertised by Boris Wilnitsky art sales organization in 2007. Another copy of this print is at the Österreichische Nationalbibliothek, but not this copy.

Archduchess Marie Karoline demonstrates Franco-European evening dress around 1850 in this print. The bodice has an unusual cross pattern.
