Lady Susan's hair looks "blown back" and probably bundled by a hair net. Her dress has an 1870s style square neckline, but late 60s style natural waistline and half conical crinoline and mid 60s style banana sleeves. This image was originally titled ca. 1870 (based on dress) because the dress does have first bustle dress period features.
