1887 Archduke Joseph Karl Ludwig of Austria and his family by Károly Koller

The sitters are the couple and their children (l. to r.) László Philipp, Maria Dorothea, Elisabeth Klementine, Clotilde, Joseph, Klothilde Maria, Joseph, and Margarethe Klementine.

From Wikimedia; sepia tone removed by gogm.

Maria Dorothea and Margarethe Klementine's dresses have massive bustles. The frilly decorations of the 1870s are replaced by simpler features, vertical pleats for Maria Dorothea and plain material for Margarethe Klementine. Clotilde wears a more elaborately decorated dress with contrasting colors.
