1861 Augusta, Empress of Germany and Queen of Prussia (1811-1890), née Prinzessin von Sachsen Weimar Eisenach by Franz Xaver Winterhalter (copy - original missing since 1945)

From Wikipedia. This was probably painted to commemorate the accession of her husband and herself to the Prussian throne. I posted the following note about it to Wikipedia because Wikipedia dates it to the 19th century, "According to the authoritative Franz Xaver Winterhalter (Menzenschwand 20 April 1805 – Frankfurt am Main 8 July 1873) - Works From 1861 To 1865 (Last Update 1 January 2009) by Eugene Barilo von Reisberg, '706. Augusta, Empress of Germany & Queen of Prussia (1811-1890), née Prinzessin von Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach, 1861. Oil on canvas, 271 x 180 cm. Missing since 1945.'

The reference is available on the Internet at: http://www.bvram.com/.

Also, '705. Wilhelm I, Emperor of Germany & King of Prussia (1797-1888), 1861. Oil on canvas, 271 x 180 cm. Missing since 1945.'"

Where did this portrait and  the other 1861 Winterhalter portrait of her husband go? Russia with Soviet troops to keep company with Hitler's skull fragments? South America with fleeing Nazis? A home near Herman Göring's palace Carinhall after being liberated by area residents before Allied Monuments Men could secure it?
