Queen Maria of Bavaria wearing a dress with a contrasting stomacher

From the lost gallery's photostream on flickr; the upper part of the left edges was fixed and spots throughout image were fixed with Photoshop by gogm. Various attempts at detail enhancement were not successful. Sepia tone removed by gogm.

The bodice is reminiscent of Madrazo y Kunz' 1853 portrait of Amalia de Llano y Dotres. Close examination of the skirt suggests that it has flounces.
