This is a slightly rotated, cropped, color adjusted, and Photoshopped background version of what Katenka_Fyodorovna posted on the Alexander Palace Tima Machine Discussion Forum on 24 September 2010. Photoshop was used to fill in a patch at the first 1 cm width x 1/2 mm height of the very bottom left of the image, otherwise the Empress and her dress are untouched.
Eugenie's evening dress has a tufted waistband announcing a natural waistline dating this to the end of the 1860s.
