A good biographical sketch of her can be seen here. Her father was rendered blind in a Cheneian hunting accident so he turned to art, science, and music. His estate was ground for the first manned flight of any kind, by hot air balloon, in 1783. She died in a fire at a ball celebrating Napoléon's engagement to Maria Luisa of Austria in 1810 put on by her husband's brother Karl Philipp, Prince of Schwarzenberg.
