1863 Elisabeth wearing white dress by Oscar Kramer

Empress Elisabeth was frequently photographed, as in this example wearing a light-colored dress with a huge contrasting bow.

Sissi's dress features French sleeves as well as the enormous bow. Her dress is adorned with dark tapes passed through numerous loops that give the dress a perforated look. The tapes along the skirt  appear to be paired with ruffles along the bottom edges while the tapes of her jacket are usually in triplets. The sleeves appear to end in cuffs, possibly flared cuffs. She liked dark, cylindrical hats; this one appears to be decorated with a pom-pom. The complexity of the dress leads me to guess that it may be a Worth.
