The Countess of Damas was named Marie Louise de Menou. The Marquise of Crest is covered in another Subalbum for Madame Genlis (somebody please correct me if I am wrong). According to the Wikipedia article about her, madame de Montesson was her aunt.
Three Ladies, two wearing robes à l'anglaises, and the furthest one wearing a robe à la francaise, enjoy tea in the afternoon wearing elaborate coiffures and relatively plain dresses. The fullness of even a robe à l'anglaise requires a sharply swept back chair to accommodate it.
