1740 First official portrait of Queen Elisabeth Christine Prussia by Antoine Pesne (The Collection of Friedrich II von Preußen Stiftung Preußische Schlösser und Garten, Berlin Germany)
I usually leave
sharpness alone, after finding adding sharpness induces pixelation errors. This
image was grainy so I reduced sharpness and brightened it a little to show the
folds of her skirt.
Elisabeth
Christine’s dress appears to be an "open robe" with stomacher
matching under-skirt in this Pesne from around 1739. She wears a lace modesty
piece and engageantes. Sleeves are now tight, puffed sleeves are out. Her hair
is presumably powdered - she was about 24 when this was painted.
