Madame d'Egmont Pignatelli wears a gorgeous dress with a ruffled neck band to cover her neck above a dress with a white stomacher framed by a blue bodice that matches her blue skirt and under-skirt. Some of the lace skirt panels are formed into crescent shapes. The meandering appliqué decorations were fashionable through much of the 1700s.
