1778 Juliane Marie of Denmark by Vigilius Eriksen (location unknown to gogm)
Juliane
Marie's gown in this 1778 portrait doesn't have the flair of the English and
French Ladies, but it is a good example of dress of the era. Her petticoat is
exposed by the widely separated sides of her robe and is decorated with a deep
and a smaller lace flounce. The stomacher is decorated with bows. Her dress has
a separate bodice, perhaps a jacket bodice.
