1789 Comtesse de La Chatre by Elisabeth-Louise Vigee-Lebrun (Metropolitan Museum)

I don't know what became of this Comtesse de La Chatre, portrayed here by Vigee-Lebrun in 1789. She probably had to take it on the lam not long after this portrait of her was painted. Vigée-Lebrun left the country.

From batguano.

The deep crease between the Countess La Châtre's legs suggests her dress has a vee waistline.
