1853 Amelia de Vilanova y de Nadal by Federico Madrazo y Kunz (location unknown to gogm)
According to a Wikipedia Spanish-language article about her husband's family, Amelia was a beautiful noblewoman from Barcelona who married Ignacio Girona y Agrafel from the rich Girona business family.
This portrait is widely distributed on the Internet, but this comes from the 1837-1888 portraits album of ericab16's excellent site on Webshots. I partially suppressed a flaw on the left side and removed some larger spots with Photoshop and then made the image lighter to bring out details.
Amelia wears a pre-crinoline evening dress with a pleated bodice ending in a vee waistline over a full skirt.
