Marie Amélie's dress, with what appears to be a sash or over-dress with broad stripes over a base of lace or busy-patterned material, is fascinating. She is not sitting way forward, as would be needed with a substantial bustle and the sleeves are slightly raised at the shoulders dating this to about 1890.
