1901(?) María Cristina wearing a van Dyck bertha-collar eBay detint

María Cristina's dress shows how the leg-o-mutton sleeves are subsiding as the century changes; her dress has a van Dyck lace collar. She is recycling the dress, worn when she posed with her son when he was a few years old, by adding a new bodice with big sleeve puffs, longer sleeves, a square neckline, and the van Dyck collar-bertha.
