1835 Maria II by Q. Rottigni

From Biblioteca Nacional Digital de Portugal (BNDe-234-a_0001_1_p24-C-R0072); I removed the sepia tone.

This Rottigni print of Queen Maria shows skirts are becoming much fuller than before - her dress is almost what an Anglophone would call "Victorian."

Keywords:  1835, Rottigni, Queen Maria da Gloria, Queen, Bragança family, Portuguese, hurluberlu coiffure, braided bun, scarf, vee neckline, modesty piece, lace, pleated bodice, imbecile sleeves, cuffs, natural waistline, full skirt, necklace, gloves
