1552 D. Maria de Portugal by Anthonis Mor (Museo Nacional del Prado - Madrid Spain)

Her Wikipedia article, with link to this image, is here. She was Felipe II's first wife. If this is Maria Manuela, she was already dead for about seven years when this portrait was painted.

From Wikimedia; numerous small flecks all over darker parts of image and some spots on face and hair removed with Photoshop and image made lighter by gogm.

D. Maria's dress does not have hanging or false sleeves. She wears the veil turned jewel mount that dates back to as far as Isabel I decades earlier. She appears to be wearing a fall of hair at the end of the jeweled bandeau that holds her veil.
