Also posted to the Late Farthingale Era - 1590 to 1620 Album here next to a portrait of her called "ca. 1595 Portrait of an Unknown Lady by Marcus Gheeraerts the Younger (Tate Gallery)” that is apparently a portrait of Lady Elizabeth when she was younger and with child.

The skirt length would recur several times in the twentieth century. The bodice resembles the zone bodices of the 1780s.
