1751 Herzogin Maria Anna Karoline von Bayern, Prinzessin von Pfalz-Neuburg by circle of George de Marees (auctioned)

Her Wikipedia article is here. Born a Pfälzischer (Palatine) Wittelsbach, she married a Bavarian Witelsbach. Her genealogical sketch is here. However, Wikipedia says she bore three sons while Geni.com advises she had two sons and a daughter. Either way, there were no grandchildren. The German-language Wikipedia article for her husband, Imperial Generalfeldmarschall Ferdinand Maria Innozenz von Bayern, advises they had two sons and a daughter. There is not a German-language Wikipedia article for her.

From altesses.eu/princes248.php; removed spots with Photoshop and filled in shadows. George de Marees is, I believe, also called Georg Desmarées. According to his Wikipedia article, "Georg Desmarées or Des Marées, a portrait painter, was born in 1697 at Stockholm, where he was instructed in painting by Martin Meytens, whose assistant he afterwards became. In 1724 he made a stay in Amsterdam, and in the following year in Nuremberg and then in Venice, where he received further tuition from Piazzetta. In 1731 he settled in Munich, where he became court painter, and where he continued to reside till his death in 1776.” I do not know who auctioned this portrait, only that it was auctioned.
