1868 Empress Eugénie CDV by Alfred Chardon Jeune

Alfred Chardon Jeune should not be confused with Augustin Aimé Joseph Le Jeune who took over Sergei Levitsky’s Paris studio when Levitsky returned to Russia in 1867. Le Jeune cards appear frequently in this album, but this this is the first Chardon Jeune posting.

From eBay; rotated image that was wider at the bottom than the top to remove most of that distortion with Photoshop and then filled in the upper right edge. Monocolor tint also removed and the size was fixed at 12 cm high at 70.87 pixels/cm.
