Upgrade image posted 13 November 2018 from forum.artinvestment.ru/blog.php?b=270065&langid=5; removed spots and fold marks with Photoshop and filled in shadows. Also posted to Françoise d'Aubigné, Marquise de Maintenon’s Subalbum here.
The dress and head wear seen in this well-known dated portrait are very close to the dress seen in the next portrait. The girl’s dress has a panel extending down from the back of her neckline, possibly something like the back panel of a robe à la française. The marquise’s waistline cannot be resolved.
