The figure in the portrait to the right is Marie Clotilde of France. This portrait is very close to that of the presumed portrait of Madame Adelaide.

The sacque back and wide ruched robings of the Comtesse d’Artois’ dress are seen in this portrait. The engageantes are not as big as they were in 1760.
