ca. 1856 (estimate based on ages of childresn and dresses) Maria Nikolaevna and her children by Vladimir Hau (location unknown to gogm)
Maria had seven children, six of whom survived to adulthood. The yougest, Georgii, was born in February 1852. The oldest, Maria Maximilianova, was born in 1841. The younger Maria's sleeves are semi-pagoda sleeves with under-sleeves suggesting crinolines are right around the corner.

Younger Maria wears late pre-crinoline dress with semi-pagoda sleeves and under-sleeves while her mother is staying with sheer over-sleeves. Both of their bodices have high necklines and collars while young Marie's bodice has obvious buttons and her mother's bodice is adorned with a center panel.
