Caroline of Baden, Queen of Bavaria by ? (location unknown to gogm)
From the lost gallery's photostream on flickr.
Caroline knew how to stay warm and in style; here she wears a fur-trimmed coat over a dress with a ruff-lined neck opening and a hat. Her bodice is decorated with simulated frogging using appliqués and a column of buttons to create a martial look. The waist band's placement suggests early 1820s as the Empire look faded from the scene.
