Queen Victoria’s mother; Victoria, Duchess of Kent

Low resolution makes analysis of this photo difficult.

From pinterest.com/dianariveraguil/royals/; removed smudges from background with Photoshop and increased exposure and contrast. Also posted to Victoria, Duchess of Kent’s Subalbum here.

Victoria’s dress has Russian sleeves, sleves that reach to the wrist with a slit from near the armscye running all the way to the bottom. She may be wearing sleeves below, but the image lacks the resolution needed to resolve that. She may be wearing a cinched coat. Her dress or coat may have a vee waistline. Her skirt is partially raised revealing a petticoat or under-skirt.
