Sophie Charlotte by follower of Sir Godfrey Kneller (location ?)

This portrait is even more damaged than it appears to be here because the large flaws were removed with Photoshop. The only changes made to the dress were a thin hairline crease running through her sleeves and bodice and spots where the robes attach to her left shoulder. There may be an equestrian sculpture behind her. I wonder if this was kept and neglected somewhere in the old DDR.

Sophie Charlotte by follower of Sir Godfrey Kneller (location ?) From fixed larger flaws

This dress has the tent-like over-bodice of a 1780s dress over a 1600s split bodice. The hem is decorated with possibly jeweled plaques. The dress has a natural or very shallow vee waistline.
