This 1792 Voille portrait shows Maria Feodorovna wearing a vest-bodice, similar to that shown a few pictures back without diamonds in her coiffure, over a white
central bodice that matches her petticoat, barely visible at bottom. This leads me to conclude the
white satiny material is part of the bodice and not her chemise, although the
lace frills may be chemise trimming. Her sleeves reach to her elbows.
