Maria Feodorovna and Paul toured Europe from the Fall of 1781 through 1782, including France. The caption states maria wears a French Costume. Her coiffure is straight with big curls while her over-bodice or jacket is adorned with a wide ruffled frill and her neckline is edged with ruching. She wears a wide, flower-decorated hat.
