1856 Princess Royal Victoria dressed for her debut by Franz Xavier Winterhalter (Hessische Hausstiffung, Schloß Fasanerie Fulda Germany)

Winterhalter again portrayed the young and pretty Princess Royal in 1856. She liked to wear blue hair ornaments. According to http://www.kaiserinfriedrich.de/, this was for her first drawing room - her debut.

Winterhalter portraits are always lovely, but details of Princess Royal Victoria's dress are lost in this portrait.
