1883 Christian IX and Queen Louise with their family in a garden pavilion of the Fredensborg Palace

This Laurits Tuxen work is located in the Nationalhistoriske Museum på Frederiksborg Slot, Hillerød Danamark.

Alexandra stands to the left, behind her is Thyra holding her child, in front left is Queen Louise, in standing center is Maria Feodorovna. The Lady seated at Left is, I believe, Marie d'Orléans, wife of Prince Valdemar, while the girl to her right is Princess Alexandra of Greece standing beside her mother, Queen Olga of Greece and wife of Prince Vilhelm (known as King Géorgios I of Greece).

This 1883 Tuxen portrait captures the Glucksberg clan wearing European fashion just before the second bustle period erupts in 1884.
