1724 Louise Élisabeth d'Orléans, Queen of Spain by Jean Ranc (Prado) alta resolución

There was an old television show in the USA called Queen for a Day. Louise Élisabeth almost fits, she was Queen for only seven months when her husband Luis died of smallpox. She fit in poorly at the Spanish court and left for France where she lived in anonymity. Her Wikipedia article is here.

The triumph of the pannier style can be seen in Luisa Isabel's wide dress; her coiffure is also a preview of coming attractions.
