1764 Mademoiselle de Bernay by Louis Carrogis (Musée Condé - Chantilly France)

Carrogis drawings are wonderful chronicles of fashion; this 1764 example shows coiffures are growing a litle in 1764. Mlle. de Bernay's dress also has a neck-covering panel (equivalent to a Renaissance partlet) fastened with buttons.
