She was born in 1870 to King Giorgios and Queen Olga Konstantinovna of Greece. She married Grand Prince Pavel Alexandrovich in 1889 and had two children, the first being Maria Pavlovna the Younger (Jr.) born in 1890. She died tragically giving birth to her second child in 1891.
