1911 Princess Alice, Countess of Athlone at the coronation of George V

Posted to the Alexander Palace Time Machine Discussion Forum by Laura on 4 December 2008. There were three black lines that ran over the right side of her bodice ornament that I removed using Photoshop. The right side of the bodice ornament should be regarded as a mirror-image of the left side.

Princess Alice wears a dress with an asymmetric bodice marked with a criss- panel unmatched by a cross- panel over her lace bertha in this photo.
