King Leopold II was opposed to her marriage to Prince Victor Napoleon, whom she first met in 1888. She argued with her father who was accompanied by his mistress. Clémentine and Victor were able to marry when Leopold II died in 1909 and they married in 1910. Her Wikipedia article is here.
