1894 Zinaida Yussupova by François Flameng (Hermitage) GREMBxBaxter 2June09

Zinaida wears an opulent evening dress with billowing flared lace sleeves matching her bodice with sweetheart neckline, bertha, and peplum. She appears to drape a fur-lined mantle lined with pink satin matching her skirt adorned with a lace lapel and a high collar around her right arm. It is easy to see where the pouter pigeon waistline came from. While this bodice is pulled tight between wiast band and bust line, leaving a little extra material would create the pouter pigeon look.
