According to the Illustrated London News, “The bridesmaids’ dresses were of white glacé silk, trimmed with satin and a tunic of gossamer and fringe cerise roses, white heather, and ivy, with wreaths to correspond.” Their dresses have fee necklines surrounded by ruches bands and a bertha or flounce. The dresses have natural or even slightly high waistlines and pouffy bustles.
