Anne Boleyn figurine by George Stuart

George Stuart's figurine replica of a grieving Anne Boleyn carrying a French hood in her hands.

She was honored by decapitation with a sword instead of an axe.

Particular attention was lavished on sleeves in this era. Her gown furnishes outer sleeves (of silver) while there are red puffed and slashed inner ("false") sleeves within that end in frilled cuffs. The middle sleeves are also wrapped in fur.
