This undated and unattributed portrait is of interest because it shows how someone who died in 1524 dresses. Her skirt is full, but may not be supported by hoops, she has a high enclosing neckline, and doubly cuffed sleeves. Her sleeves emerge from epaulettes, previewing the rolled and tabbed sleeves later in the farthingale era. She wears a girdle and pendant and she wears a French hood.
