Anne's dress shows the last days of the ruff on a woman who did not mind showing her cleavage. Her ruff is reduced to a small pair of wings while her bodice has a scoop décolletage is created by a partlet framed by the pearl-edged square neckline of her bodice. Bodices often have triangular features as does her bodice.
