ca. 1624 Lady Frances Howard (1578–1639), Duchess of Lennox and Richmond by ? (The Vyne - Basingstoke, Hampshire, UK)

From artuk.org; removed spots with Photoshop and filled in shadows, increased exposure and enlarged by one third (further enlargement will not be useful). This is the best version of the image I could find. I could not find any part of the object, maybe a book, in the lower center of the right side.

Lady Frances wears a sheer cape decorated with white ribs that complements the vee neckline of her bodice. The cape is adorned with discs that connect to one at the tip of her vee waistline and what appears to be a cut out apron with serrate edges that runs around the hem of her skirt. Her bodice appears to be decorated with embroidered panels.
